Anglers or Animals ....this cant be good for angling

Went down to the Knap today ,arrived 3 hours down ,and was greeted with dead dogfish strewn on the beach , this sort of thing makes my blood boil ,we all have our moments of dogs being a pain ,but to knock em on the head and chuck em back dead is disgraceful ,whoever did this needs a good kick up the @rse. We all know the odd one dies when chucked back but 5 ,i dont think so ,they were intact ,and not bird pecked so must have been in the last couple tides .....

This sort of behaviour cant be doin decent anglers reputations any good .

Its not so bad now but it was common to find dead eels on the canal banks, Ive also heard of match anglers cutting deep hooked eels open just to retreive there farty 22 hook instead of just cutting the line.. pointless if your not going to eat them
