got a pair of TDPK's here in 12 foot that are worth more to me than the kids .. great rods , perfect for the south coast
can't go wrong with Daiwa

I've never had a bad experience with Daiwa rods and reels. I'm a big fan of their products!

That being said, I haven't used the model you're asking about, so I'm just generalizing...

I used to have one of these...well the tdss130. Had a bright red shrink tube but, think most people changed this to black as they were a bit "bling"

good rod, used it for the majority of my beach work for about 6 years and didn't have any problems with it, bite detection was alright. more suited to your over head thump than a pendulum as its quite soft through the blank but decent a decent rod.
