| books do help sometimes but i dont think you can beat starting a new discipline with an experienced person in that field. I would love to give fly fishing a try very popular up this way in the summer for salmon and trout and have three good salmon rivers only about an hours drive away but i never seem to pluck up the courage to go. It might seem a bit weird but I was very nervous about starting with the weight and bait method of fishing but I suppose practice makes perfect  |
