Support your local tackle shop

Hi guys,

I had bought a Daiwa Evo Emcast 5500 from Veals in Bristol last august. Last fishing trip the oscillation device packed in. Well cheesed off. Its not the most expensive of reels but still costs £78,-. Took it back the guys at Veals who sent it off to Daiwa. Got a msg on my phone Reel is out of warranty and would cost £50,- to repair. As I only had taken it about max 15 times fishing and caught max around 3lb cod not a happy bunny. Went in to Veals and the guys gave a brand new one without a word. Just want to say that sort of service you will not find on Ebay or other such places.
Just another reason to keep using your local shop.

Many thanks to Veals if you read this.
One very happy customer and will always buy my tackle there.

Re: Support your local tackle shop

Total agree with you mate, there is nothing wrong with hunting down some bargains on the net but people should also buy things from the local tackle shops (even if it means spending a few quid more) as they have a wealth of knowlage, proper customer service and good supplies of bait. If we don`t use them they will all shut down and that would be a great shame and a loss to our sport.
