Made a schoolboy error..HELP....

I have just returned from bait digging to find that i have managed to contaminate all my 160 lug with the blood from the popped ones that i had kept seperate!!!! I didn`t fill a bottle with anymore fresh sea water either so i have had to tip all the water away and they are now dry in the tub, if i wrap them in score paper wraps do you think they will survive till sat night or shall i go drive 10 miles to fetch some more water for the trays???

they'll be fine in newspaer, just check them and remove any blown ones each day.

i can keep lug just about ok for a week in newspaper in salad tray in fridge, just change everyday

Thank god for that, i usually bring some water back and put them all in trays till the day i go fishing but was a dork this time and managed to contaminate the lot
