| Re: 515 mag2 I have one but dont have an abu. Its well built and is very smooth to cast. My other reel is a sl20sh which can be a bit of a handful copared to the 515 the mags work very well. With no mags its very fast and with the mags full on you would never get a over run The retrive is smooth and powerful you could pull a shark in with it. Ive used it with 30lb straight through on rough ground and it coped well, although the 525 would be better with the extra capacity. I use it with 15lb line and a shockleader most of the time and feel that this is what it was built for. If I had the money I would buy another. Hooe this helps. J |
