hi i want peoples views on my tackle that i use i got a silver surf rod with a jarvis walker 5000 reel loaded with 20lb red ice line a predator rod with a clarke lf 7000 loaded with 25lb clear line and fladen celtic with a okuma beachcaster 80 with 30lb clear three rod pod 3oz weights and a beach selter and use size one abadeen hooks

Sounds like your well setup ,its not all about the latest gear ,its more about your knowledge of the area and the end tackle ,size of hooks and bait you fish with. Plenty of people around that dont catch fish simply because of the rigs and bait they use are tottaly unsuitable for what they are trying to catch.

i do rock shore and pier i buy all my rigs that i need and use either lug worm or full baby squid

You do a lot of fishing over rough ground mate? If not you may be able to cut down breaking strain down on your mainline a bit, i usually go with 15-18lb but thats cos most of my marks are over cleanish ground, just chuck a 60lb leader on and makes it all safe. It will just give the tide less to get hold of and less weed ect.
