I think so, I too did the fire wardens course up at Nigel Mansels golf and country club nr Exeter, great course dont you think.
Did a couple of the First Aid courses as well at the st. johns place in torquay.
Comes in quite handy sometimes.

i use to bass fish from his back garden in jersey ( nigel mansels) ..it was like mackeral fishing !!!one after the other ..

Eh haven't been on that particular course I'll take your word for it. SP have their own courses and I have to do it because I'm in charge of so many staff so it's part of my job as is workplace assesments etc etc.

only freshwater fishing from that course unless a really good cast 1.5 miles lol

making leads in your garden shed/garage is a dangerous business, if you dont know what you are doing then, leave it to someone that knows or buy them

and with all this talk about health and saftey on this matter, not once have i seem a post about not making them on your own

what do you use for heating up the lead?
because i ahve made afew things befor with molten lead, paper weights or my hand and stuff like that, and we just put the lead into an old pot and used a blow lamp, which worked but im sure there are better ways
