Research help needed about fishing.

Hey all,

I am just trying to do some research into fishing and thought this would be the best place to start. A few things I wanted to find out was there a fishing type where individuals would use a smaller rod and sit close to the bank of perhpaps a canal or a river? If so what is this type of fishing called so I can research it further and also is there any particular places in Kent that this happens that I could perhaps go and visit.

All information or feedback is very much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Cat.

Hang on Nick, i just thought ......
have a look at the name

Perhaps its a REAL cat that knows how to type and is after a fish for dinner... the rod would NEED to be small as cats are only little ..
