Re: tide tables

I use this one from the Home Office http://easytide.ukho.gov.uk/EASYTIDE...ide/index.aspx
I like it because it gives local times and you don't have to offset the GMT.

I normally use an app on my iphone now that I live its simply called "Tide App" It allows me to save my favourite marks and shows the tide state now as well as for the next 7 days.

do you mean in different ports ? no two spots will have the same time .
eg
for me its -22 mins from liverpool
go 15/20 miles up the road and its -34 mins

EDIT

Whitby tide times are approximately 25 minutes before the listed Scarborough times. Filey times are around 5 minutes after Scarborough.

Re: tide tables

when it was a freebie disc i either collected from an issue of seaangler or a birthday gift from the parents i cant remember,

but once i had the 04 ? 0r 05 version of this on my pc.

http://www.chartsandtides.co.uk/tideplotter/try

i found it very versatile and useful but to be honest there was way more info on it even then than i needed to use just for beachfish/bait dig sessions, coz its seems to be aimed at boat users for launch & navigation,

but with it i could plan months in advance & search for biggest spring tides,
or tides of any given size at any venue (if listed)

at £70 a shot i tend to use easytide now, it gives enough info to plan things
