| Thanks for your reply Nick R, I have tried to research this situation for myself but I found it very difficult to get the information I want from companies web-sites. I have a grand son aged 14 and he wants to start fishing so I said I would find out about sea fishing and take him. The trouble is that I am 74 and don`t fancy going out on an organised boat trip and be sea sick and be locked out there for hours in that state and spoil his day, thats always supposing he isn`t sea sick himself. Ruling boat trips out initially I thought the best idea might be pier fishing or promenade fishing to get started to see if he likes it. So my question is do you know where we can pier or promenade fish some where between Fleetwood and St. Anns and a shop where I can hire the tackle we need. again my apologies, t.gerrard |

| It's difficult to find somewhere to hire tackle, infact i dont know of anywhere but the good news is you can pick up a 12 ft rod and a reel for 20 quid easily ! In the summer a lot of skippers do mackerel trips that are normally about 2 hours in duration .. great fun and normally flat calm seas .. cost is around 20 squid i would imagine ( if that ) .. try here for local boats - http://www.charterboats-uk.co.uk/ __________________ Shore Species 2012: Dab-Flounder-Herring-L.S.Dogfish-Pouting-Shore Rockling-5 Bearded Rockling-Small Eyed Ray-Turbot-Whiting |
