Our main fundaiser last year raised 1,580 of everyones hard earned for the RNLI,
this years events are the main night on 9th July @ phoenix club dover, with AbbA Dance + Ebony & Harley, 2 live groups, a raffle of which we already have 5 companies donating, including family tickets for the paddle steamer Waverley, an auction is possible on the night, and are hoping food will be available, last year we had 70+ companies involved so if we can get half back supporting us this year it will be good fun night, tickets are 5 quid, 3 for 13 and under and under 3 are free, 180 tickets available of which 53 have been prebooked already so going quite quick n hope to sell out before the summer.

Other events in the planning stage are a collection in a local supermarket, a couple of boot fairs(sell tat n raise money lol), and 3 of the guys are going to do a top middle and bottom sponsored challenge, top = one having his head shaved bald, middle = chest waxed, bottom = legs waxed, have the 3 to do it, but wont unless at least 150 bucks r raised,

this years target has is a hopefull 2,000 to be presented to the Dover RNLI, but i will be happy to hit over 1,000 n any more is a bonus

if any one wishes to attend let please me know, i can reserve tickets, but will obviously need the money for them before June or they will be sold to someone else,,,,,,,,,,, or has ideas how to raise money, please feel free to donate there ideas, or money if they so wish(come on ya know ya wanna lol)

Well m8, soon as i get time i will put a list up of what we have for the raffle/auction, and the companies that have donated to our cause thus far, and its well over 20 raffle prizes at the moment

Sounds like fun, i am planning a camping trip to folkstone in the summer so i may well go that week and come along, is it ok for children to come as i will have a 2yr old with me???

Yup, perfectly fine for kids to go, under 13 are 3 quid,,,under 3's are free, and the, waxing sponsorship has been sorted for 11th June and after 20 minutes of printing the forms this morning we had 40 quid in sponsors already, so hopefully
doing it a month before the main night, so as the 3 guys have the time to collect monies raised, and wont be in agony on the 9th July, plus we have a comp on the 4th june,,,,,we got more plans for them on the 9th lol

not sure unless ya book tickets there will be any left to sell on the door, last year tickets were sold out 3 months before the event

well should be a cracking night, J foodsupplies of Lenham are gonna be supplying all the foodstuffs, with Bookers giving whatever else we need, so a big thanks to them, so ya wont go hungry mate lol

DFDS Seaways car plus 4 passengers Dov-Dunk
Good master train set direct from Hornby @ Margate
Various books and canvas bags, Cuddly toys, music cd's
Co-Op voucher, Colchester Zoo tickets, 4 tickets to Hever castle
Leather wallets, Paintball tickets with 2 different companies (1 supplying free lunch) 4 tickets to Eastern nights (dinner) @ Ramada Dover, 3 month membership to a gym, Kingswear castle tickets (Medway), Leeds castle tickets, family tickets for Waverley paddle steamer, Quality streets, mens watch, 2 tickets to show of choice @ Leas cliff hall Folkestone, and the usual wines and beers

and lots more to come in June as i have to re email companies then, but looking at between 30-35 prizes and no more as it takes to long with 2 live groups performing,

Auction items include, a double autographed dvd from comedian Ross Noble called nobleism, autographed eastenders photo's, a conger rod being built by Legacy custom rods,

Also Bills bait and tackle Dover, Gifts for fishing, and sea fishing supplies who are donating some things for our Junior Comp on 17th July,

JFood services will be donating all the foodstuffs, with Boookers supplying the plates, napkins etc,, half the tickets for this have gone already

The 3 guys who are doing the Top, Middle and Bottom sponsored challenge on 11th June informed me friday that there sponsorship for that is already progressing nicely, hopefully over 500 pounds from that event will be added to the final total, expecting to beat our 1,600 from last year, but you never know
