well new rod came today opend it up very carefully...........top section..........SNAPPED oh ****.

bottom section........SHATTERD. for **** $@k3.

sending it back for a refund,and im getting this years model biult for me from my local tackle shop for the same price as last years model.


i felt like myself.

they weren very appolagetic either

Thats a bit poor ,always risky getting rods sent thro the post/courier ,unless they are in a hard tube .At least you got a newer model sorted ..

it was in a cardboard tube,looks like they ran over it,yeah esp for the same price

Not very good for that to happen , but a bonus to get one built to your own spec for the same price

no its not very good ,and will never order from them again,think ill get all my stuff from local tackle shop it safer, and i can check it ok before i buy it.

yeah the rod there biulding me should cost £320,but i get it for £260,as ive benn let down and it took me months to save up for it, and the eyes werent even staright

Probably not the best way of going about things,on a public forum. I'd very much doubt the supplier wanted a very expensive rod to arrive in bits . I'm assuming he's refunded the costs ,so he is the only one out of pocket, if anyones to blame its the hamfisted carriers.
