Well the new fishing method went very well. No records broken with cast distance (not very good at all) but did come away with one cod 1.2 kg and one plaice which went back to grow bigger. I had loads of hits on the bait tho but didn't take the hook. All in all a good day especially considering its gale force winds out there

yeah well done mate..

Try reducing your hook size, say Kamasan size 1's..

And when you get a bite, leave it, give it time to take the bait, sit on your hands mate, let the fish hook themselves! If your using multihook rigs, you give yourself more chance of filling the hooks with fish every cast, just by leaving the bites to develope into hooked fish..

well done again
