new reel

hi all ,

i got a sonik sk3 for christmas and was just wondering what multiplier would go best with it? im thinking of the daiwa 7ht mag? would this be a good choice? its becoming a dilemma,

any help is appreciated

hi there i just got my self a sonik sk3 and used it for the first time last night i have daiwa 7ht reels and they both worked a dream together so with you 7ht mag it would be even better that my set up so yeah go for the 7 ht mag mate oh and welcome to the forum mate

I use a ABU 6500 Blue yonder with my Sonik. Great combo....

i do have the abu 6500 mag elite but i struggle to get the distance that can be achieved with it,i did think about the blue yonder but i'm abit wary of abu reels for some reason,they are brilliant reels though.

My rods the SK4 13'6" model. Bite detection is excellent. I shall probably buy a another one, as i've always fancied a matching brace of rods. It's the tackle tart in me...

oh ok,mine's the sk3 14ft 5-7oz.

funny that i've got a tackle tart side to me aswell,if i get on with it i might get an sk4.
