Neoprene fishing gloves, £4.99 in Aldi

I hope this doesnt get flagged up as spam but I spied these in my local Aldi store yesterday and could'nt resist. Have to say the quality is excellent for the money. I bagged a couple of pairs:

Not spam IMO but a good tip as I have just bought myself a pair and they are great! Very good value for money.

In my store in Portsmouth they only have them in green, green or green but that's OK as I like red ;-)

The finger and thumb flick back which will make it easier to deal with hooks and detailed work. They will of course pad your hands as you wrestle with the 100lber as you reel it in.

Will they be any good long term - don't know but for a fiver you can't go wrong!

Oh and I don't work for Aldi either...

William

Bought a pair last year, they are very warm, but a little bit bulky if you are fly fishing, all in all great value for your money

They do occasionally have a few sea fishing bits in. Very much in the "budget" category but ok if you are just starting out or light gear for kids, etc.

As an aside, dont get your head turned by the prices of their audio/visual/electrical stuff as it's cheap tat that will let you down - I speak from experience.

I have them as well . Keep your fingers warm but as Flydog says not good for tying knots and such like. I find if my body is warm I don,t get cold fingers anyway.
Was out last night and didi not really realise it was really cold until I got back to my completly frozen car.

I reckon they would also hold the upper hand in a snowball fight

A bit too old at 68 for snow balling, rather curl up in front of the fire with a glass or two.

Re: Neoprene fishing gloves, £4.99 in Aldi

Thanks for the tip I was after a pair of fingerless neoprene mitts. So if they don't work out like they are I'll just cut the fingers off. Forced to drop in Morrisons for some beer and cider on the way back too. Bought the wife flowers too so it's looking good for next week or two. Watch me screw it up :)
