| Re: chesil , colder winters Yep; Trevor Housby fished for most species and did a couple of great books. One was called 'Dream Fishing' - I still have a copy and another couple were something like 'Big Fish' and 'Rubby Dubby trails'. All excellent reads but not too much technical information. I think he may have written a book with Mike Millman and also some stuff on freshwater with John Wilson. Again - try a search on Amazon - they will source copies for you if interested. Just the thing for a cold english winters nights read in front of the fire with a glass or two of scotch!!! Still over 25 degrees celcius in Queensland!!! Cheers Plato |

| Re: chesil , colder winters When I had a bloomin' great pull down bite on double sandeel (was a codling) down there a couple of weeks ago I did think Spurdog for a few moments as I've read about them too. |
