Marks in/around Mounts Bay

Hello all,

Am visting my folks in West Cornwall in a couple of weeks and was after some tips for marks in the areas. Would love to catch my first bass down there (would'nt mind catching anything TBH ).

I've heard that Long Rock is good (nr the pipe). I would love to catch off Perranuthnoe as this was were I lived near as a kid but the more I blank on this beach each time I come down the more convinced I am that there could be better marks around and I'm simply fishing it for sentimental value.

Something accessible would be perfect as i'd like to take my old man who is'nt v mobile these days.

Some local bait tips would also be helpful (limpet is present so might give that a go - it's also free ).

Thanks in advance.

P.S. Am i right in thinking spinning is a waste of time given the small species have moved out this time of year?
