| Berkley whiplash- braid line- ? hey i need a strong and thin braid line for saltwater spining i using lures from 10g to 45g and the line must be thin and strong enough. What do you think about the "whiplash" line ? the test is very strong according to the manufacturer for example : 0.10mm 14.1 kg 30lb 0.08 mm 12.3 kg 25lb is there some of u with experience who can give me opinion? thanks a lot ! http://www.berkley-fishing.co.uk/cat...stal,5361.html |

| Re: Berkley whiplash- braid line- ? Ihave tried many braids including whiplash. The one I have found best for spinning is Stren 20lb. Whiplash is ok but seems to hold water and not cast so well. All the braids seem to have different properties some knot better some are more abrasion resistant some cast better [dont overfill spool]. I find it best to use a florocarbon leader about 2 rod length long particulaly over rough ground. |
