 Spent to much..... I am 45 years old and medically retired so money is tighter than a camels arse in a sand storm - but my 15 years nephew is sadly Dyslexic but he does have a love of Angling and has won a few comps too!   So his Uncle Ardon (me) wants to keep him on the straight and narrow and to nurture his fishing skills to be productive rather than see him turn out to b a smack head or knocking back  etc on a daily basis as employment around here is mega mega scarce!!!!! Anyway this year for chrimbo I have spent over £200 quid on fishing gear for him - Tons of sea and course tackle gear and a new reel..... and the little bugger better appreciate it or a will be had!!!!If he doesnt then him and I will be going shark fishing with him being the bait!!!!!!! The sight of a big whites gnashers closing in on him will either sober him up or scare the bollox outta him - probably both - either way it will probably be funny for Uncle Adrian to watch his ring piece blowing bubbles as he swims for his life using anal jet propulsion!!!!!!!!!! I take teaching him water-craft and angling to be a totally serious pursuit as I have mentioned above and I hope that he loves fishing for the rest of his life, as I have!!!!!!!      |

| Re: Spent to much..... I'll admit it. I have absolutely no idea what this thread is about. If it's about bringing some kid in to angling and putting a smile on his face then great. What the f in L it has to do with housing and immigrants I have no idea. As for furiners, well we are one of the few nations that catchs and releases our fish. Yes there are a significant number of people from overseas who need their arses kicking. There are also a lot of people who WILL listen when told. There are also a signficant number of self important toss pots who think their phone call is more important than my childs life .
