I have absolutely no idea what this thread is about.

If it's about bringing some kid in to angling and putting a smile on his face then great.

What the f in L it has to do with housing and immigrants I have no idea.

As for furiners, well we are one of the few nations that catchs and releases our fish. Yes there are a significant number of people from overseas who need their arses kicking. There are also a lot of people who WILL listen when told.

There are also a signficant number of self important toss pots who think their phone call is more important than my childs life .

What any of this has to do with this thread we are all now wondering ;)

Sir barbelblanker boyo........

It's called members interaction and having a laff and a mild bit of humour so folks on the board develop into pals worldwide and not just a user name!!!!!....

I restore old motorbikes and through a few forums I have made solid pals and have been to California 3 times, Norway x2, Paris and Ozzy is on the cards next year!!!

As for my young neffs situation I am very very serious about his future and will do whatever I can to keep him on the straight and narrow!!!

Angling makes the job a whole lot easier!!!

Next time we fish I will take some pix and post them up if your interested???

A fish was planned for early on Saturday but the scuppered the session but I am hoping to fish the local rezza sometimes this very week if the stays away!!!!!!!

The Local Rezza - What bait and hook size would u guys use when fishing for shopping trolleys and old push irons?????

Should I float or ledger???

p.s: Ive never actually caught a Barbel but I glean that they are good fighters and luv cheese and luncheon meat baits!!!!!

I remember this from an old fishing book where Mr. Crabtree and his son were illustrated in an amazing tome but I lent it out to someone who lost it!!!

My San Diego Host...........

http://

Seriously ugly
- that's the capture and not the fish!!!!!

What damn ugly as hell type of fish is it anyway???

Its looking good!!!!!!

The forecast for Sunday morn is good at last and I and my neff, and a pal called 'glass back' whose back only plays up when the benefits agency are sniffing around, and am really anxious to fish again!!!!!!!

The venue is called Cavendish Dock in Barrow in Furness and big carp and trout etc are said to be in good numbers and also a load of ya usual freshwater fish...

Cant hurt to give it a go can ya???

The venue also exhibits bloody Eels - I really hate Eels!!!

I plan to photograph the session and will post them up if we catch anything!!!

Fingers crossed smilie!!!!!!!!!!

I canna not wait till chrimbo to see my neff, Luke the puke, opening up the very big box of tackle that I have bought him......

Basically, he will have all the gear he needs to fish for every type of fishing on the planet if not the Galaxy!!!!

I was fishing a while back wiv me neff using sweet corn and I reached into the tin to re-bait to find it empty - My neff had scoffed the lot and if that were not bad enuff - - - he drank most of my tea in a flask too!!!

NICKY RRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

U are tighter than a camels arse in a sand storm!!!!!!

Kids - your own and/or related need the best start in life and no other activity on the planet will stand them in as good stead as Angling does!!!!!

I'd sooner have them doing something constructive on a river bank than drinking, drugs, antisocial behaviour etc......................and Ive turned out ok aint I !!!

My great-Granddad, Granddad and Dad passed onto me and my kid brother the art of angling and we are passing the skills onto Luke my neff who is a natural born fisherman...

Well perhaps that is not entirely true as I have been in the cells a few times for pugilistic anticts!!!
