| Advice please hi chaps new to this site and to sea fishing,went down to torbay twice this year for hols and be going lots next year,so while i was down there did a spot of sea fishing for the first time,i had some pollock and 1 Mackerel,i used a couple of carp roads and reels and got a couple of float kits form a local tackle shop,i loved it but my question is, using carp rods the best idea as i read they can rust the eyes,so was looking at some Shakespeare in2 rods cast weight 4-6oz are they any good and is it best to float for pollock and mackerel or fish on the bottom,any advice on all tackle i might need would be great as i relly not sure.and living in lincoln was thinking of having a go of the east coast but again no idea what to use tackle , bait or where to go,and what sort of good rigs to use and easy for a new boy to make, any help would be great ,thanks tim |
