My Father inlaw has just delivered my new rod and reel for Mullet, namely a Ruger high Tensile with quiver tip complimenting it with a intrepid new deluxe...eat your heart out boys!

I found an Intrepid de Luxe on the Chichester Canal some 45 years ago.

I handed it in at Chi Police Station and after 6 months, they said I could have it fer keeps.

I never did go back to reclaim it.

Bought a Mitchell instead.

Exactly the same, that looks in good nick too!
Had it apart last night and gave it some tlc, astonishing that the guy who made them started out in his garden shed.Apparently going bust the company who produced them, couldn't keep up with demand.
