Why high tide? Having been given the wrong tide information on a website, I'm now faced with the prospect of tonights trip being right at low tide! I should be fishing the tide in from low for about 4 hours. Having spent years as a kid fishing the marks around where I live now, I've realised how few times I've fished a low tide! Do we all automatically look for the high tide when planning trips? Why is that? How many of us have fished the local marks at low tide? I'll let you know how I get on... __________________ Neil "Every day's a school day!" Species 2010 - flounder, bass, black bream, ballan wrasse, smut, eel, rockling, plaice

Re: Why high tide? Good luck mate. Personally I like low water, more often fishes better than High, especially on the Island.

Re: Why high tide? Theres marks near you neil that can only be fished over low or a neap tide , some produce some very nice fish , can often be the better choice __________________ If Everyday things are getting you down & stressing you out, Think like a Dog, If it cant be Eaten or Humped, Piss on it and walk away..
