Ragworm mail order / online - Has anyone used the people below and are there ragworms any good ?

Or do you know of any other companies that sell ragworm , as I live inland and have big problems getting bait and have to rely on the good will of others picking up bait for me

What a rip off dude!!

£2.50 for an 1/8 of a lb when a 1/4lb costs me £3 from my tackle store and then they want £11.75 for delivery!

Just imagine........I would like a quater pound of rag please......that'll be £16.75 sir!!

Kiwimarty I think you'll find that the price for "trade " orders is a lot lower than the "retail" prices shown on their website.
As for the quality I can tell you that they are very good as my local tackle shop get their rag from SeaBait.

Interesting thought! If discounts are so high to the trade, how come bait stores say theres no money in bait!!??

YEs I think I have used them many years ago

The £11 is for overnight service going to give them a ring and see what it is for normal service

i used to have 2 pet geckos and i brought all the live food for them mail order, have to make sure you dont do it on cold days, live insects on the door step die quickly in the cold, i guess rag might not

Kiwimarty I think that tackle shops regard bait as unprofitable when compared to tackle because there is an enormous mark up on tackle!

I totally agree with you. In fact if we look at that site again, we can see that when you add p&p to the worm price (even allowing for bulk discount) there wouldnt be a huge profit in it.

It would be a great idea though, to bulk buy it just before a forum meet though, with everyone chipping in advance.
