| Hello people, I have started beach casting on the east coast near withernsea and i am having no luck. So please help me, what are good baits for day fishing also i might try some night casting with a mate what is the best way to do this and good baits for this too. Please help. =) ![]() |

with regards to bait i would stick to worm baits during the day..ragworm wriggle and attract 'sight' feeders such as pollack and mackerel.. At night fish feed mainly by scent so you want fresh fish baits or juicy peeler crab to attract them in.. Remember at night you will want a 'snap' type starlight for your rod tip plus a headtorch ,flask and decent warm clothes....remember it can be roasting at 9 but ruddy freezing on the beach by 1am !
