Eastbourne and pevensey devoid of fish?

Hi all, dont know what has happened to the fish in eastbourne and pevensey bay. Nearly everone is blanking on a regular basis. Even glynn who runs the Anglers Den admits its been crap! Its like there is a net been laid right accross that stretch of coast! Any ideas? we cant all be crap!

What are you using for bait down your way and what species are you targeting? This particular time of the year there is such a rich source of natural food for them, find out whats available to them and try to mimick the richest source....you may find they are concentrating on one thing only...sourcing your bait locally is important too, just a thought, i,m going to shut up now and go to bed, night night!

Re: Eastbourne and pevensey devoid of fish?

we fish over the worm grounds and thats what the majority have been using on the snoods.

Going to try a completly new approach on saturday night which is more akin to freshwater fishing and see if i can winkle a few out. I will report back on sunday to let you know how the new tactics worked.

I am presuming you are using worm bait then, topping it off with deadly squid?
