Hopes for the spring/summer?

Its that time of year when the fishing has slowed down and you start to think of the arival of spring/summer species(i know its still january but the fishing is so poor around here at the mo)
I was wondering what everyones hopes/targets are ?
Mine is to land that elusive double figure bass(again) this year i m really going for it.
I d also like to get a decent shore caught bream and have some fun with the smoothies but the one i want is that bass.
Anyway for the timebeing i ll have to make do with poor cod and pout.

I'd love to catch something different from the shore (i.e. not an eel or pout)

I also want to catch an elusive 20lb carp, that I can never seem to land, I'm pretty sure I've hooked 3 different fish atleast 18lb+. This year though

decent smoothound and a decent bass from shore, double figer fish from anywhere

An old welly boot as long as it puts up a fight...but on a serious note like you said its got to be the BIG BASS. Also a nice wrasse and Pollock from the shore.

and a 20lb+ sting ray
and a double figure bass wouldnt go a miss!!

Did not get it last year but a Tope over 40lb would be great

think smooth hound is a wish as never had one yet(along with plenty of other fish)
