It depends on the quality and type of silicon you buy....although my mate got a few tubes from the pound shop and they turned out great!

On the subject of it being 'staged'.....there's a segment in the video where he pumps 7 or 8 worms on the trot with no editing, you can't stage that!
He's really that good, as you can see when he tips his worm bucket out at the end, though it helps if you can find a worm bed like we have!

Also, the guts are stripped out prior to freezing, if you don't take them out and dry the worms a bit, they defrost into a mushy mess!

My wife isn,t very happy with the kids, apparently she,s got giant hole,s cut out of her flipflops, i told her i didn,t think it was a good idea to give one of our kids a pen knife for his Birthday!

Well that's a very good question, not all sealants are equal. You need to look for one that once set is still very flexible. I have tried various sealants and some are too hard, and don't seal as well….

I have just tried some bathroom sealant and they look pretty good.

Best advice, go to a pound shop and buy a tube of each of their sealants and try them out….. then let me know which one works best

In any event, even a hard silicon will be better than the seals supplied!!

Another essential tip is to lubricate the pump prior to use with washing up liquid, less friction means less wear on the seal and better suction

Make sure you buy a solvent based silicone i.e for bathrooms and not a mastic type one used for sealing around worktops ..clear silicone for windows is probably the most versatile and most likely to be "formed" ..
I go through tubes of the stuff but find the stuff from poundland is either out of date or cheap crap thats not much cop..

Just a quick update.

If you have got a toolstation near you, go and pick up some of this stuff its their own brand sanitary sealant. The code No is 49747 and its £1.89 per tube.

Very good stuff for the washers.
