| dexter wedges hello im a compleat novice at sea fishing and want to spin for mackerel and bass, the advice ive been given is to use a dexter wedge for the waters i have in mind. but what weight do i need? i think i remember reading somewhere that 32g is the best for macke but im not sure btw I'm takeing 2 rods, a 7 foot (this spot lacks elbow room) and a 14 foot carp rod for a bit of beach casting if i carnt get any on the spinners any advice would be helpfull many thanks CW |

| Re: dexter wedges Hi Catweasel welcome to the forum. All I would suggest is choose a nice dry day to start with, expect to blank. Have a chat with any other anglers at your chosen mark.
