| Float design and sheakspear? Just got to let you all know this problem ive had. Its with regard to the common sea floats, have you noticed (or is it just me) that manufacturers no longer insert the small metal insert into the top section where the line enters. Ive been having alot of trouble with the line getting stuck in small splits in the top section made by the line as i strike. I can get around the problem by glueing a bead in the top as the beads are made of a stronger material than the soft central core of the float, however... this is the good bit...I e-mailed SHAKESPEAR with quality images of the problem and they basically e-mailed back and said that they couldnt help me in this matter.That came directly from their customer services dept. And they wonder why anglers think most of their stuff is crap!!!!!! | Re: Float design and sheakspear? Yes it is a pain in the butt and whilst we seem to pay around the same money today as we did a few years ago, the quality does seem to suffer on certain items. | Re: Float design and sheakspear? It does pay to complain my daughter just got a £3 voucher from Cadbury's when she complained about her advent calender she is only six. Keep it up I've even taken rotten food back to Tesco and claimed for my petrol and they paid up. Up the Torbay Mafia. |
