| Re: how do you burn a doggie please? DOG FISH...also known as the ROCK SALMON in the chippy. I always find that its a good idea to let the fish rest for 24 hours before cooking, this allows the fish to loose some of the moisture in the flesh. fresh fish (apart from the oily kind) tend to have alot of water in them and can be a bit soggy and tasteless if cooked straight from the sea. Dogfish can be a bit tricky to skin so its best to see some diagrams on how to do it.look it up on the net. Cooking however can be done in several ways, I normally cook mine in the oven wrapped in tin foil with a knob of butter a sqeeze of lemon juice and a touch of BLACK pepper. Enjoy. Regards nigel. |
