Muddy sea! Just been down Budleigh to see what the fishing might be like. Was a good 50 metres+ of muddy water up to the water's edge. The fishing gear remained in the car. Was also a bit cloudy so didn't hold out much hope of catching anything. Hoping we get some good sunny weather soon. __________________ Jason - Got the flavour for fishing back!

Re: Muddy sea! Got your spinning gear out again Jason? the extra muddyness may be from from the landslip Dave reported last week round the corner at Jacobs. Should be good bottom fishing with all the extra colour in the water. ![]() __________________ Spahill <:--- --- --- --- It was this big --- --- --- ---:>

Re: Muddy sea! There was a club comp down at Budleigh last night. I couldn't fish as had Mrs Baggie birthday duties, but did manage to pop down to say hello a bit later. All that had bee caught was a couple of dogs and a couple of Plaice that the GreyGhost will be particulaly pleased with!!! Soon as I find out what the final results were I'll post 'em up. ![]() __________________ Right then, checklist: Rods. Check. Reels. Check. Speckled Hen. Check. Bait…… BAIT! Sh*t, where’s the bait?

Re: Muddy sea! Might nip down later on to see how it is. Much sunnier today! Was just going to chuck out some lures as a first time effort. High tide is quite late tonight though but might nip down at 6 and fish the incoming tide - high one tonight at 4+ metres. __________________ Jason - Got the flavour for fishing back!
