Am i getting shafted

Hi everyone i have recently inherited some sea fishing reels 1 x Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 823, 1 x Abu Garcia Ambassadeur XLT3 Syncro and an old school looking Daiwa multiplier.
As i mainly fly fish i was looking to get rid of them and a bloke i work with offered me 50 quid for all three i was just about to say yes but at the last minute got the feeling he was stiching me up ?
Is 50 quid a fare price or is he taking the p**s ?
Any help would be great.

hi

i'd say that it depends how much their worth to you.
there all oldish reels so even if you split them up and put them on ebay you'd have to get at least £70 quid for them to get £50 in your pocket after fees.

can't find anything on them doing an internet search so i can't see that their sought after.

The problem with things like Feebay is we used to empty our garage of crap we never used any more and never even thought about it. We just wanted the space.

Now, because of Feebay etc, we believe the crap we have stored in the corner of the garage is worth something. Wrongly in most instances.

If it's in the corner of your garage or shed, it's most likely to be in the corner of a lot of other people's garages and sheds and is worth bugger all!!

Feebay has grown up on the strength of all this crap and encourages you to relist as many times as it can.

As a collective forum, we should possibly pool the crap in our sheds and make it work for something useful for a change?
