mikerobinson83 is on a distinguished road
places to fish near plymouth

ok so i am getting my first rod, i have asked for advise in the welcome section but please feel free to give it here aswell.

i have decided that most of my fishing will be from piers/rocks with the odd trip to the beach

i will be mainly float and bottom fishing (not at the same time )

where are some good spots other than mount batten and the hoe.

Thanks mike

Re: places to fish near plymouth

All depends on what you would like to catch really!

If its mackerel, wrasse, pollack etc then mount batten, the hoe or elphinstone are ideal easy fishing spots

If you want to get away from the crowds a little more you will need to drive a little further to somewhere like seasons point, rame head, slapton, beesands etc
