shamed into a cleaning session

as the title states....I fish with Mike who if anyone knows is the reason why the word tackle tart came about.....

me on the other hand is more of a stig of the dump fisherman.....rods and reels have a healthy covering of crab, rag and squid goo providing a lovely layer stopping the gear picking up superficial scratches mike however gives me stick for this

anyway i decided to have a clean ....wet wipes...ain't they great rods come up lovely reels lovely and clean...they now shine and gleam like something off a Mr muscle advert....

unfortunatley it doesn't stop there...took my torium apart to give the bearings a lighter fuel bath before drying and rocket fueling up, bit of grease to the gears....then back together.

why the hell do toriums have a spring loaded clicker that fits into the screw thread which the star drag has to screw over......my god the air was turning blue i spent 40 minutes last night getting it back in with it firing itself across the living room 3 or 4 times followed by me on my hands and knees looking for this 3 or 4mm part...next time i do a strip down i might look at the merits of having a clickless star drag!!!!!!!

I resemble that remark , best i wear some darker glasses for the next sesh..dont want the glare of the sun hitting that shiney gear blinding me !!!!

sorry guys...

went in the washer last night...with additional softener just to keep my little pinkies in tip top condition when i wipe them all over my front.

now where is the iron...and how do i use it

The irons are in the bag with the other short rod like things.
Put the little white ball on the big green one.
Wave the iron around your head a few times then try & hit the little white ball before the big green one.

If you have used the wash machine properly your formerly black smock with bits of red showing through should have turned a gay shade of pink all over.

Me thinks you may be redder than the smock after this weekend .

Its alright i'm at ease with my sexuality so pink won't be a problem for me...might even start to accesorise!!!!

necklace with elastic holder and pliers...might have to bling them up a bit.

also looking for some paint....what do you recon on painting some nice daisies on my wellies
