Tsunami Competition

Has anyone heard anything about the Tsunami fishing competition in the North East England. I was talking to an angler who says its a night competition on the 21st, 6pm-10pm. Supposed to be some good prizes donated by takle shops and local fishing boats, £10 entry fee.

Re: Tsunami Competition

I wont get up there to fish mate but would be happy to 'sponcer' a forum member to fish it. I think that would be a good idea for someone to pick up and run with.

Re: Tsunami Competition

Nice idea Kiwi,

Any forum member fishes it, bung your name up here and I'll donate another £20.00 into my local post office. The situation is just so awful I can't really comprehend the numbers so am glad to give.

Go fishin for a good cause guys.

Jules.

Re: Tsunami Competition

I'll be going, more just to donate the money than to compete.

Next question, is anywhere fishing at the moment. I have been of blyth a few times and there are hundreds of whiting all about a 1/2 to 1lb in weight.

PS - well done to all those shops suppying the prizes, looks like they have been very generous.
