How Deep??

Am curious if anyone knows how dee p the water is at chesil approx 50-80yds out, tides not inc. Is there a good site some one can put me to?

depends what end of chesil you are on mate - the cove end is deeper and the drops steeper than further west i.e Abbotsbury then right up to Burton bradstock ..
Can give you a good site that deals with all things portland and chesil but doubt you'll find one with depths as it varies too much over the 14 or so miles.
and just out of interest the state of tide makes a huge difference down there beacause at high water its much deeper 50 yards out than over low water due to the shelves whereas at around 80 -100 out from low water yo uhit clean sandy patches even at the cove end.
