Rapala max rap--any opinion?

i wanna buy a rapala maxrap lure for saltwater fishing
what do u think about this lure,it is really cast a good distance ?
it is really worth his price? 17$
somebody have any link to reviews ?
max rap is about 13 cm 14 gr

would say rapalas are the bissiness but expensive

have a few for pikeing/bass but always afraid to use them re cost

I have never used this particular plug, but i do own many Rapala's and i my opinion jointed plug's tend to have the edge over non jointed, but i must stress that is my opinion others may have found the opposite.

I'm trading a FXR12 (Australian Floating X-Rap) with a guy in the States for one -- it should arrive in about a week

I usually buy my Rapalas on eBay - there's no way that I could afford to buy them at 80 -120 shekels.

Rapala as a brand name are a classic indication of two things.

1: The retailers proving that a 50 pence lure can be packaged and sold in such a way that people who should know better will shell out 1000 times as much for something that is marketed right.

2: There is one born every minute

I went fishing with a MaxRap a few days ago and was really impressed with how it casts. as the morning progressed the wind picked up and was quite strong by mid-morning.
Of all the lures that I had with me the MaxRap was the only one that I could cast any distance into the wind.

I was really impressed with it and even caught a fish on it
