Re: anyone fished plymouth breakwater?

Hi Guys,

Anyone can get permission to fish the Plymouth Breakwater but they will need the permission of the Queens Harbour Master.

The person you need to contact is the QHM's Cheif Petty Officer on 01752 836914, he will send you a form to complete (Health & Safety)

Permission is granted with the following conditions

1) Wind not in Excess of Force 4 (17MPH)
2) Height of tide not exceeding 4.4M during the visit - check your tide table for the time & Height of heigh water.
3) A Boat to take those fishing out that must be immediately available to take everone off should weather conditions deteriorate or tide reaches 4.4M

To enable these conditions to be met the person remaining with the boat needs to be in VHF Contact with Longroom Port Control on VHF 14 or needs to leave a Mobile contact number with Longroom Port Control (You can contact them on 01752 836953)

How do I know this - Im in Longroom Port Control

Hope this helps those that missed the organised event.

Tight Lines

Steve
