| Milestones Was digging around a few old pics a while ago....and came across this  the tenth ten from the shore weighing 12lb 8oz 7 have followed since including two over 11lb in a day ,  but to reach and pass the ten tens was just a goal that i never thought id reach....... im sure most fisherman have a fish , not always the biggest but significant to them.....that meant alot?? __________________ 18 and counting     |

| Re: Milestones My first fish on the fly a small grilse, but i saw it take the fly, il never forget that. First salmon/grilse is the hardest drew to catch believe you me mate.  not an easy fish to catch. |

| Re: Milestones Sorry mate, been off line most of the weekend. The fish that stands out in my mind as being the most special was the double I caught last year, not least as it was my first double and smashed by PB by about 6lb, but also because it started a period of 4 weeks in which I caught another 2 8lb'ers and my first thornie at a shade under 9lb. Cracking month! __________________ Right then, checklist: Rods. Check. Reels. Check. Speckled Hen. Check. Bait…… BAIT! Sh*t, where’s the bait? |
