c3ct mag elite clean ground reel...nah not really you just go through em a bit quicker..........and broken ground you can definately use something like this or the 7ht

penns...no thanks have 525 mag elite that i used for 7 years...yeah great casting, but tempramental and can blow up...but so agricultural.

torium 14 now thats the boy...smoother than cashmere and casts just as well and has the guts to pull a land rover out of a ditch.

will find out tomorrow for definate.

stud who is your casting instructor????

I have one of those little abu closed faced ones fom the 80s, ideal for wrecking.
My casting instructor has cast 340yards using a boat rod with 60lb line and a scarborough reel.

No worries my friend owns the largest rock/candy floss factory in siberia,he makes candy floss out of gold thread that i send him.
I made an angling documentry in his factory last year for SKY, it won 3 Baftas you know.

i have one of those 80's closed face reels (abu 501) and it is purely a clean ground reel

and as for your casting instructor...i'm sure he will improve if he can incorporate a modified fosbury flop into his under arm swing...trust me
