| Re: New EU fishing quotas announced Fish stocks at an all time low. Solution = Kinda, maybe at some time in the future perhaps reduce the quotas a little. Sounds exactly what I thought would happen.  Re: New EU fishing quotas announced Well all I can say is....... Remember the Grand Banks COD...cos they are not there any more... Pity the Canadians did not take action earlier...but as always greed is the abhorant side of man. I am with Paul... the Commercials will be the first to cry woolf and bleat on about lost revenues and jobs.... but when they have finally raped and killed off our seas.... we'll be paying for it on two counts... No fish and their dole money!!! Better to take the pain now and save our seas than wait until its too late and the irriversable damage is done. The EU sucks and all those who have argued with them suck as well...but for our own ministers.... If there were Dolphins being killed by the thousand in the North, Rish Seas and the Channel, then they would ban fishing in those areas... as quick as anything. |

| Re: New EU fishing quotas announced I honestly believe that our Government is being lead up a creek and is going to end up in a barbed wire canoe without a paddle. IT seems to be Politically Correct to be a minority group and get your own way. For examples of this just read the daily newspapers. Shame they can't act as one unified body as they did with Fox Hunting , and that was a bl**dy shambles from start to finish.When are we going to get our voices heard? Gets my f**** goat they are a load of overpaid overpensioned bureacratic f**** numpties that should go and try and catch a few fish for themselves, whilst spending £1000's of pounds per year for the privilage.Then they would realise what we are all on about.
