£3 quid ish !.......good idea [to find yr local chinese food wholesaler or shop ,the squid is exactly the same as the tackle shop stuff and miles cheaper,our local cash and carry does a 5lb box of squid for £4.50

yup about a pound or so eight squid per box chinese supermarkets get mine there for 1 80 a box frozen ten in my freezer never know when ya need them

I've used thin strips for bream off a boat, smaller hooks, down to a size 8 even. But if your going for a whole squid, you need a bigger hook.
I say hook size is reletive to the fish your after.
