I am sharing with you and have been for those who have been listening the secrets to catch not just one fish but alot of fish. Lee is right i am very passionate about fishing, but that is because he like me and those in the know go fishing on the shore at the right times, and that is the difference between a great day or nights fishing and a bad one. Reading mags hurts me a lot of the time as the information in them is cr.p at the best of times but has improved a wee bit, and its just fills in for the advertisments. Jan/feb/march dont expect much action few flounder, whitting the odd cod or two etc but that for me is not really what i call shore fishing in general and doesnt mean someone will go out of there way and prove me wrong + its bloody freezing. End april the plaice are very thin and they are hungry= go fishing. May-aug great fishing from the pier, rocks and shore, catch most species=go fishing. Now the best months night time sept/ prime months for a biggy and tons off fish from the shore, rocks, pier and my favourite months october-december bring two rods, fish one in close 1st if you have only one rod and pump the other one out if you have 2 rods. Keep a diary was the tide full was it not how far was it ie an hour before full etc. You want to catch fish thats what you have to do. You could fish a spot on a monday and get a great nights fishing, you could fish it the same spot a week later and have the best nights fishing you could ever wish for. This is the secret to success, and 1st please safety 1st bring a friend with you or and your mobile just in case as its night time. Now guys i wish you well and if you remember this post you will catch a lot of fish. Tight lines to you all=f ish2 and plenty more were they came from. Chow, Paul
Read your last post and then read this out loud, get your facts right before you start acting the hard man, the bit about a well known mag, if you read further down the posts you will find i NEVER mentioned 1 mag i said MAGS. And just for the record this post was for those who dont know as in post if you would bother to actualy read it 1st. I think to call me a know it all makes you look like a prat, as i have fished at WORLD shore level and fly fishing 15 years and boat fishing with guys that have fished at world level, i think your jelious because all im doing is giving damn good advice. Are ya glad.

Re: Right times to go shore fishing

ok, ok, ok....before this get's totally out of hand...you're entitled to your view, but my view was you were slightly patronising...and I wouldn't exactly call myself a pratt...

Me, jealous?....never - fishing is my life! .....Literally...

yes I'm glad (whatever that means?)

Take care fellow fisher-friend, I'm off to blank - again!

Stud, why don't you go all the way around the UK, pinpoint every mark - and then tell me the right times to go fishing?

Let's say for instance shall we...I want to fish at Bog Hall rocks, in Northumberland...CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME THE BEST TIMES TO FISH HERE?
Thats what you said to me, this was for fishing in general and not just for one person. Anyway critisism i can take but patronising i dont and not from you or anyone. Paul
