5 ounce gripper by gemini mate high tide was half two in morning i was there an hour before only had seven chucks 50 yards out ran out of worms!

I have some frozen mackeral in freezer stud. It was out of tesco though from the fishmonger bit, i froze it as soon as i got it home

Next time use a 5-6oz rolling lead and you will threble your catch, but if lead is moving to quick use gripper. Good quality frozen is catch fresh bring home and wrap whole, guts included in news paper say 3 fish to a wrap and put in freezer asp. Do not eat mackerel if you keep guts in the fish and freeze. Tight lines. Paul

ok mate will take your advice. When you say a rolling lead do you mean a running leger or fixed but no gripper wires?

by rolling lead sure means just the type of lead you are showing I:E without grip wires
