wot a bummer

talk about crap start to 2010 fished twice caught acouple of yting, then go to work 15 1 10 find shop shut, gone bust, move whole family down to east sussex for this job only to to lose it,,19 1 10 had to go and sort out housin stuff 11/2 hrs then drive 20mins to job center another 1hr later all forms sorted, no money coming for 2-3 weeks,, wot a crapy start, dont know when i'll get to go out fishing again, money worries now, family 1st fishing 2nd, by eny chance does enyone know where i can dig lug locally to me?

hi baker boy.

really sorry to hear about job situation. if i hear of any vaccancies going i will pm you.

if you want to dig lug then pevensey is really the local place to go. timberland road is quite good but any where in the horses area will produce.

you can dig the beach inside the newhaven harbour. they have put a fence up at the steps to stop the public from getting on there, but most diggers climb over fence to go onto beach. can produce reasonible lug there.

alternatively there is south ease river for maddies, yet again not supposed to do it but every one does and have been for over 20 years, make sure if you do that you dig on the river bed rather than the banks and always back fill. as you are up the river the tide times are approx one to two hours behind main tide, and you need to pick bigger tides although any low tide 1 metre and below will be ok.

ta kev, going down tide mills area to look for some razors on sat or sun low tide about 1010 am, if eny there, will try harbour side, i know where u mean another day.
