Crab is already 70p a crab so I wouldn't think it could go up much more? The crab are either there or they are not it shouldn't effect the price or it's Pure greed.

Sorry cuckoo, can see where this is coming from. Fullcreel. it is down to the cold. From merridian news the deep sea temp around our coast is a couple of degrees higher than normal so the crabs are coming inshore at high tide only to be trapped in the shallows. there the shock of the cold hits them at low tide killing them. Will try to see if there is any info on other sites that deal with local enviromental issues but it looks as if it is down to the cold.

Unfortunately every time we get a drop in temperature and the sea temp tends to be higher this tends to happen somewhere around the country, hasn't happened for a few years. Plenty of shore crabs there so will my shore crabs fetch a better price now?
