| Multiplier wanted Hi all, Was looking for a cheap multiplier reel, does anyone have anything they don't want anymore?, I can pay you for it! I'm looking to convert from fixed spool reels to gain the extra distance during backcast, and would like to practice on a cheap multiplier to see how I get on with them as I've only ever used them on a boat (once). I have a spare rod ringed for multi, just need a reel! Thanks     |

| Re: Multiplier wanted A chap in our casting club can cast 254yrds with a fixspool reel, measured on court. But if you prefer the multiplier for the backcast advice from steve devon is sound advice. Good luck with casting   |

| Re: Multiplier wanted Good man nick, its addictive thats for sure, it costs me £5 all day as a guest. Beats fishing opens which cost inc bait fee for peg etc etc £40. On great beaches but wrong times etc etc.= no fish. |

| Re: Multiplier wanted Thanks guys, The multiplier looks good on ebay thanks Nick, only problem is I'm casting around 170yds with my fixed spool and the multiplier only holds 150 yds of line, might have to keep looking! I've thought about casting lessons, have only been backcasting for 3-4 months, and have doubled my range from just watching my friend (who has had casting lessons). I'll give it some thought tho, would love to beat my mate who's hit 205yds (measured). |

| Re: Multiplier wanted Unless your interested in tourny casting , keep with what you got  170 yds is a very good distance and will get you any fish in the sea  Its great to get good distances but for what ?? the fish are usually closer to the beach than you think __________________ If Everyday things are getting you down & stressing you out, Think like a Dog, If it cant be Eaten or Humped, Piss on it and walk away.. |
