Re: Multiplier wanted Buy yourself a 7ht multiplier stick some red rocket fuel in bearings and off you go. 7ht holds 375yrds of 0.35 line @ 15lb breaking strain. The backcast is a very powerful cast, easy does it. Wee tip fish are in close as nick says and 120yrd cast will get you dogs, rays, cod, tip you will also get them 30 yrds out more than pumping out . Its more important what you put on the hook, traces used, and night time can be crazy fishing in close one rod in one rod out and sometimes you have to take the rod thats in close and pack it away cause its nuts every second bang bang. Cast for fun and fish for the buzz.

Re: Multiplier wanted Stud, I think you got me wrong, someone was telling me about a multiplier reel which holds 150yds of line for sale on ebay, I said that I currently cast further than that so would not be any good for the reasons you just stated. Thanks for the reel tips i'll have a look, and the rocket fuel sounds good. Totally agree with you about the distance thing, also depends on the beach you fish and conditions as well.

Re: Multiplier wanted Thats red rocket fuel, and not yellow tournament rocket fuel. One tip though with 7ht put in 1 clear brake block and thats you safe. Do you know how to centre the spool and oil the bearings, if not when and if you get reel i can show you easy enough. Line lay on a multiplier is also a big key in hitting big distances. Another casting distance reel is the abu 6500 mag. Tight lines.
